The Academy

Here is some stuff about the academy;

The David Beckham Academy was established to give young, aspiring athletes, the chance to develop their skills, learn about teamwork, healthy living and above all understand the importance of having fun every time they step on the pitch.

The academy is open to players of all ability levels, age 8-15 where they will learn and perform the same drills that David did as a youth player. Each player will be put through a variety of assessments to examine their strengths and weaknesses. The coaching staff will then devise a plan to improve each player’s game.

David Beckham was fortunate enough to attend a soccer school, which helped him realise his dream to play professional football. The David Beckham Academy was established to engage youngsters through the sport of football and to encourage them to fulfil their own potential whether on or off the pitch.

and another biography:
The Los Angeles Academy is based at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills, which is a $150 million multi-sport facility built on 125 acres of land. It is also the home of two Major League Soccer (MLS) teams, The Los Angeles Galaxy and CD Chivas USA.
