Poland needed that win much more than Croatia so Poland is almost out of luck.
And Germany beat Austria also 1-0

Germany disposed of a plucky but ultimately toothless Austria side to book a quarter final clash with Portugal. A stunning Michael Ballack free-kick settled the game as Austria failed to create any clear cut chances. Germany will have to improve if they are to topple Portugal. Meanwhile, Croatia beat Poland 1-0, thanks to Ivan Klasnic.
